Anthony and Jaylyn met at Edna Hill Middle School in 2008 at the ages of 11 and 12 years old. They reconnected in high school while attending different schools and decided to start dating. Only in fiction do you expect high school sweethearts to fall in love, stay in love and end up together. While the last 10 years haven't always been easy, these lovebirds have managed to go the distance. From proms and high school graduations to full time jobs and a family, they are ready to begin the next chapter in their lives.
They were planning to travel to Hawaii in March of 2020. Anthony was planning a beautiful proposal to happen while they were there. The week they were leaving for their trip, travel was banned due to COVID-19. While Anthony was disappointed that 5 months of planning was just canceled within a matter of days, he decided he wasn't going to wait any longer and he proposed in the backyard during quarantine. Their son, Jameson, walked out wearing the sign pictured below.
It's FINALLY happening. Anthony and Jaylyn are finally saying "I do." They have waited to celebrate this day with their family and friends for many years, and while they respect some may not feel comfortable in large gatherings, they hope to see many of their loved ones in attendance.
